War Games
Schools almost out and Arora is calling you to War. Wars Games that is. Imagine seven weeks of non-stop fun, laughter and brutal competition based on the “Team Arora” team you’re a part of.
Here’s how it works, every Wednesday after service, teams will huddle up and compete in the “War Game” of the night. Points will be thrown out for first, second and third place. Simply help your team to accumulate the most points over the course of the seven weeks and you win. In War there is only one winner, one champ…. will it be you?

But that’s not all, because after service you and your team will treated like kings as you stuff your faces in the “All You Can Eat Pizza Fest” made especially for the winning Team Arora team. Please note: The Pizza Fest will take place in the Arora Lounge, and the only winning team will be allowed in the Arora Lounge.

Our God
Pastor Chris and the Arora team invite you as a student to join us for this exciting three week series on Worshiping Our God.
The fact is, you can worship whatever you want, but there’ll always be a last twist to the story. You see, whatever you worship, you become obsessed with. Whatever you become obsessed with, you imitate. And whatever you imitate, you become.
In other words, if you worship money, you’ll become greedy at the core of your heart. If you worship some sinful habit, that same sin will grip your soul and poison your character to death. If you worship stuff, your life will become material, void of eternal significance.
But if you worship God, you’ll find that He’ll fill you with his purpose, strength and love. It’s three weeks not to be missed.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, we decided to tackle this one head on. Pastor Chris and the Arora crew present The Unspeakable Eight! A series designed to help you as a teen understand what Gods Word says about a myriad of controversial issues. Issues like suicide, evolution, racism, homosexuality, divorce and so many more.

Push Over | April 7th at NACHO
Calling all Arorians. This is your chance to unite, use your creativity, influence and bring your entire school out to “Nacho” April 7th, 2010. It’ll be a a night never before seen in the history of man kind. You can be a part of pushing these challengers off a 16 story structure and seeing them scream like grade school girls into a safety net down below. It’s the challenge of the ages and it’s coming to Arora.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS: Each Challenger Group has an attendance goal. If the goal is reached the challenger and those below them will have be have to take jump from the Terror platform…free fall down 16 stories and land into the safety net below. For example, if 275 students show up, challengers at levels 225 & 250 will be “Pushed Over”. Get it? Got it? Good.

Years ago Will Smith rapped ”Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind.” Well he obviously never met Arora. You see this summer is going to be filled with Camp Padre, Hurricane Harbor, Shark Night, Arora and so much more it will be anything but kicked back.
It’s the countdown to a summer of sweetness and Arora wants to help you welcome it in with style. So beginning May 6th we will launch into a brand new four week message series entitled ”Dream Kitchen” Can you smell what’s cookin?” In each of these four weeks Pastor Chris is going to bring the sweetness of summer with him to your specific Arora Location.

Ever been to a Chinese restaurant? I mean you pig out on the buffet and when you can’t eat anymore you get one of those cheesy fortune cookies. I’m talking about the kind that taste like cardboard, but yet you still eat it because you know inside is the sweet gold of truth. It’s a little white piece of paper with ancient words of wisdom. You close your eyes and pause for a second before reading. You’re mind races, thinking about what life changing words are written on this funny smelling piece of paper.
Ready to be transformed you open your eyes to behold your fotune, to come face to face with ultimate wisdom. Only to read “Help! I am being held prisoner in a Chinese bakery.” Wow what a let disappointment.
It’s a huge let down, well I can tell you this series will be anything but disappointing. When you think of swagger what do you think of? Movie stars, musicians & models? Well it’s more than that. It’s more than the bling or the way someone walks. Actually Swagger by definition is ”How one presents him or herself to the world.”
Swagger is a tricky yet powerful thing which stems from your self-esteem. It can cause you to win or lose influence in your friends lives. It can bring you success or if handled incorrectly, have you labeled as a jerk for the rest of your freshman year. Think about that, how you act, dress, talk and even carry yourself is tied in directly to what you think about yourself.
In this encouraging series Pastor Chris is going to challenge you to develop a health confidence, a Swagger that is founded on Gods Word and is originally yours.

During this three week series on becoming a leader we are going to help place you on the path to success. We will take the mystery out of what it takes to elevate your leadership and walk with God. So take a step up. Lift up your eyes. It’s time to lift.

After a long hot summer Arora invites you and your friends to kick back and relax for “Picnic in the Park”. That’s right, we’re throwing a picnic with all the fun and fixings, like corn dogs, cooked just like you’d get at the Texas State Fair, cokes, picnic team competitions, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, scavenger hunt, a message from Pastor Chris and $50 up for grabs to the student that can throw the football the farthest. So bring your friends and make some new ones, but what ever you do don’t miss this event.

On Wednesday October 14th you are invited to join Arora as we come together as one, at the Embassy Suites in Frisco. It’ll be a great night to hook up as we make the final charge at the building. The band will be jamming and Pastor Chris will be sharing a special message for the night along with making an important and exciting announcement. This is a night you’ll not want to miss. Meet Kristian Baker. Kristian will begin leading Arora into worship each and every week as we step into the Northstar Facility.
For the last several years Kristian has and will continue to lead the worship for the Youth For The Nation summer youth camp where over 5,000 teenagers and youth pastors come to be impacted. His bands fresh sound of melodic, modern rock mixed with catapulting worship has pushed them to the forefront of the some of the best worship music for this generation. Under his leadership, this band has acquired a powerhouse of talent, passion, and zeal for purity in the presence of God, ushering young people into heartfelt adoration for Jesus Christ.
We are excited about all that God is going to do in and through this band that is raised up around Kristian.
